Hi I 'm just migrating over to my new Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard preinstalled this evening. I ordered it with iWork 09 preinstalled.

On my older machine (iBook G4 10.4.11) I had the trial of iWork 09 with 20 days left.

After migration assistant my new MBP is treating iWork like it is the trial version. It says I have 20 days left.

I cannot find the Serial number in any of my documentation. My blood pressure is going through the roof.

Unless you bought iWork '09 online, there should be no need for a serial number. Reinstall it from your application installation disc that came with your computer.

Yes, even though the software is pre-installed i though it also came on media somewhere.

Yes, I'm unaware with Custom Ordered computers if they give you the iWork disc separately or they put it on one of the grey installation cd's(your computer should have come with at least 2). It would most likely be on the one labeled application installation disc. Hope that helps.
