I updated my apps this morning on my iMac and this included updates for iWork.

So far so good, I don't use iWork and so expected this update to 'disappear' into the depths of my Mac where it can lurk along with the rest of the Apple apps I don't use (or want, but that's another story).

I then plugged in my iPhone 5s to synchronise it and backup only to find that iWork insisted on installing itself on my iPhone (and my iPad Air 2 also).

So I had to wait for the installation to complete before removing iWork (again) from my iPad and iPhone.

How do I stop these Apple apps altering my iPhone and iPad settings and doing their own thing ?
