Alright. I'm a playwright, and I've been using Open Office, and more recently Neo Office, for all my stuff. I've been putting off getting Final Draft for a while, because it's a little pricey. I was reading up on iWork and it seems Pages has tons of templates, and I'm sure I could make my own. I'll probably end up getting iWork anyway because I need a good word processor for assignments and papers for class.

So, my question is, assuming I could create my own template with iWork, would this be at all comparable to Final Draft, or should I just break down, buy the software and get it done with. Thanks a bunch.

The biggest argument for getting Final Draft is that you can collaborate and share and send stuff backwardas and forwards with dirtectors and producers. I'm using it to work on a screenplay and it's great for that. I assume ypou don't work in movies though toherwise you would think it was too expensive!!
