Jabber/Google Talk Username

I'm just wondering if it would be possible to allow people to include their Jabber or Google Talk username in their profile, just like we can currently do with AIM, MSN, etc.

I don't know if this can be done with vBulletin, but if it could, I think that it would be appreciated by a lot of members.

Although we could add a Jabber profile field of our own, or install a third-party forum hack, we're still waiting for vBulletin to add it to the standard release (even in the latest available release, which we haven't moved to yet).

The advantage to having it in the standard version is that it's backed by and supported by the makers of vBulletin, while if we make home-grown changes then it's up to us to maintain them.

The disadvantage is waiting for it.
