Jack on Sennheiser CX500s iPhone 2G compatible?

Hey, my Sennheiser CX300s bit the dust so I've decided to go for the more expensive (and presumably better) CX500s as a replacement.

As well as a bog standard iPod I've also got an iPhone 2G though which I occasionally use to listen to stuff on. The CX300s had a smaller iPhone compatible jack, just wondering if anyone knows if the CX500s have the same jack or not?

I'm not really into the idea of massive adaptors or hacking half the plastic off a jack to make it fit.

Usually they're not unless it specificly says so. Simplest thing to do is get a razor and shave around the plastic housing to make it fit.
