Today my tv teacher cleared out the last of his mac stuff and boy did he have alot of stuff! About 30+ ram chips for 6100/7100 series power macs, graphic cards, modems, adapters, manuals, software from as old as apple II to as new as g4! He said take it or I will throw it out, so I am going to pick it all up on monday. I picked up everything I could carry including, an original 1 button mouse, graphic card for my 7100, ethernet adapter for my 7100, osx server for my g3 and a whole bunch of ram. I also got some manuals for almost ever old mac! Not bad, and it was all free!

I have tons of this kinda stuff. Seriously I would count it by weight and not numbers. I tried selling some it once. So I totally understand your teacher wanting to throw it out. :D

I guess on average it's worth $5 a pound. :p

Hmmm...

Many of us collectors collect old Macs for what they represent and not how much we can sell them for.

But, each to their own...
