All giddy that i now have 2 macbooks (my mom got a new one and i inherited her crappy one), I played with the sharing feature.
In a haze of stupidity, I set it so admin does not have read/write to the Applications folder. Then I noticed i can't open System Preferences to undo the mistake b/c it's an application! Doh.
How do i dig myself out of this smelly one? I figure i'm gonna have to do some kind of fancy reboot but before I accidentaly hit the explode button, i figure it's best to ask for help.
Target disk mode sounds good...?
