Apologies if somebody has asked this before (haven't spotted it in my brief search) but downloaded the FCPX trial and stuck an AVCHD file from my Lumix GH1 into the timeline. Was playing around with the redesign (attempting to upgrade from FCE) when I decided to use one of the titles effects in FCP X.
The video was fine but the effect, when exported, had very visible jagged edges
presumably caused by interlacing. Within FCPX it looked perfectly good.
Obviously there is a problem somewhere in the exporting process and I don't know how to correct it. It's probably very simple but I haven't spotted it.
