CarPlay Jaguar/Land Rover - Head Unit Update & Carplay

Hi all -

Does anyone here have a Jaguar or Land Rover and had their head unit update to the newest version (factory unit)?

Does your Carplay navigation audio still work? I noticed mine is muted now and there is no fixing it and I've read one thread on Reddit where someone was having this issue with Land Rovers (I own a Jaguar F-Type).

Just want to confirm as I may call the dealership to see if I can get the firmware downgraded. It is annoying as heck :|

My wife has a 2019 Discovery and CarPlay in that thing has been nothing but headaches since 2019. Cutting in and out, outgoing calls from my phone when hers is connected to Carplay via cable, freezing, Siri not completing queries, the list goes on. No matter what update they do on it, it’s hot garbage so even a downgrade wouldn’t be an improvement. However, I haven’t noticed any audio issues.

Do you know the FW number of the one you had the best experience with? I’d give it a shot if we’re not already on it.
