Here's an odd one.
I recently ordered a new print server (my old Axis OfficeBasic doesn't offer Appletalk support and HP's drivers don't seem to want to support anything else). I've been tracking its progress through UPS.
I go to the UPS tracking page. I've got the tracking number stored in Stickies. I copy it, I paste it, I hit the "Track" button and *somewhere* between my hitting the button and the UPS tracking program, five extra digits appear prepended to my tracking number, which UPS promptly chokes on.
This only happens if I paste the number. If I type the number in manually, it works just fine. If I paste the clipboard into, say, a TextEdit document, all that's there is the UPS tracking number.
Quite honestly, I'm baffled. Anyone encountered something like this?
