not that I don't believe you, it's just that a salesman couldn't guarantee me wheter the new systems (after august 25) would have jaguar pre-installed
(it would be ridiculous but apple seems desperate to cash in)

If you purchase a system after August 24th, and it doesn't come with 10.2 (Jaguar ya twit), then you will be able to get it for free from Apple.

There is no guarantee as to when Apple will begin bundling OS X 10.2 with the new systems.

Though they do move to include the newest revisions far faster than they used to, this is a new system version which moves just a little slower.
