Hey Guys,

Had an i-pad for some time now and all i hear from people is have you jailbroken it of course i want the free apps and everything but theres that much information out there how do i know which to follow so i don't brick the i-pad?

I have not upgraded to IOS 4.2 yet i was going to do it today but would it be worthwhile jailbreaking the i-Pad i have a few reservations about this though.

1. Is there a big chance of me bricking the ipad?
2. Are all the apps that are on the app store available in cydia for free?
3. I dont have a clue where to start so need a good guide to get me through it lol.

Thanks guys :)

I'm wondering, is there any chance that instead of just expecting someone to answer your questions, that have already been answered innumerable times, that you sit down and do some research and search here for your answer.

Save someone some time holding your hand.

1. No, can't brick it
2. No AppStore Apps are different from Jailbreaking app, if you are talking about pirated/cracked app, them you are on your own.
3. check out sites what were mentioned before

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

1. Nah
2. Not all of them. Just the popular ones
3. iClarified is the best site.

Wrong. No app store apps are in Cydia. Only the rejected ones that aren't in the App store.

It's nearly impossible to brick an iPad, just be aware that this is a tethered jailbreak.

Do more research.
