Hi all,

I have a jail broken iPad on 4.2.1. I buy all my apps legitimately from the app store and have just spent £12 on a music app that won't run as I have the wrong OS (I assume it must need 4.3). Is there any way of running this app without updating and losing my jailbreak? Its the most expensive app I've bought so far and I really want to run it.

For app store apps that require a higher firmware they will run if you edit systemversion.plist to a higher version.

Cant remember the details on it though, google the filename.

Thanks buddy, with your answer and 2 minutes on google after reading it I now have the app up and running. Thanks for a great answer and a perfect post. :)
