So I have always used redsn0w for jailbraking, since for me, it is the easiest and the most user friendly of the lot, e.i Spirit, blackra1n, and QuickPWN. I have some knowledge in the whole spiel about "You need the 3.1.2 for best Jailbreak," "You need an iPhone 3G for best software."

I started off in the 3.0.1 IPSW for my iPhone 2G
-Was very buggy and didn't really help me at all.
-Only switched to it because of the rotating screen,
-Thought I was in the clear for a good software

Then I switched to 3.1.2
-Far by the best of the updates for me
-Not enough abilities and 3.1.2 never has good features for other hacks.
-I hated being a day late and a dollar short.

Then I used the 3.1.2 Jailbreak glitch to switch to 3.1.3
-This just made my phone crash nonstop
-Then it somehow made my screen unresponsive (though I might have done that as well)
-Nothing could help this old old iPhone.

I am currently jumping back to the 3.1.2 software as of 8:39 PM EST my phone is restoring to those settings. I have just download 9.1.1 iTunes to restore.

I need to know the best settings for iPhone 2G for jailbreaking, best apps to use, and best sources and repos to download.

I also would like someone to guide me through downloading the CommCenter MultimediaMessages hack to my iPhone 2G so that I can send MMS as it is important in my job.
