Jailbreak - 2G - no sim - HOW?

I have a first gen. iphone that I got from someone. He restored it and now I have to jailbreak it but I have no sim. He had one from atnt, but doesn't have it anymore, so I need to jailbreak (and maybe also unlock?) it without a sim card.

I'm very new at this, so I very appreciate your help!
