Jailbreak 3.0 MMS

Hey guys I had the 3.0 gm on my phone with the hacked carrier file and MMS worked. I just jailbroke the released 3.0 and MMS still works. Although I did not update my carrier file. Do you think I should update back to the hacked carrier file or not? Thanks
