Jailbreak 3.0?

How long until 3.0 gets jailbroken? I'm planning on buying an iPhone, but I don't want data and I'm going to unlock it and use my current sim with it. I'd like to buy a 3GS off ebay when it comes out, but will that be jailbroken right away? Thanks
