I have an iphone 3g running 4.2.1 and wanted to know if it is possible to jailbreak using Powerbook G4. I've search and even downloaded redsnow but it wouldn't open. Could someone point me in the right direction. Thanks a bunch!

I just downloaded pwnage tool 4.1.3 for mac and it works with powerpc macs. I'm not sure if you have to be running leopard or if tiger is okay as well. I will be getting a iPhone 3g as well later so I was looking around for that. Just search "pwnage tool 4.1.3 non-torrent download" and I think you'll find it. I got it off a filesharing website called hotfile. Here is a website with a download link for a torrent; it also has a download for the iPhone 3g 4.2.1 firmware, and directions to how to use pwnage tool as well:

Good Luck!
