Jailbreak 3G Firmware 2.2

I have iPhone 3G firmware 2.2
If I use Quickpwn 2.2 to jailbreak my iPhone 3G and got the "No Service" or other issues.
Can I use iTune to restore my iPhone 3G back to original state to make my iPhone work again???

Yes, you can also, try using Pwnage Tool, and starting off with a new untouched firmware 2.2 file.
