If you read instead of posting you will find out there is no jailbreak, we should be well on our way to 1000 postings on this.

There was a window of opportunity a couple of days ago but now- no, there is no jailbreak available for your new iPad mini whether it is a tethered or non-tethered jailbreak.

Highly unlikely one will be forthcoming too, sadly- as efforts are now all on iOS7, I'd think.

What I don't really understand is........

If he posts, he has to type out a question, submit, wait a number of minutes/hours for a reply. Then he has to open up his browser or refresh and read an answer. Or he could have googled, and gotten an answer within 15 seconds.

No thanks Jeff,

While someone here post my answer I can continue doing what I need to do. And besides I did search and saw links but lets be real here, I ain't falling for scams.

What I'm trying to say is, you spent more time on this tread, typing, creating and checking back, than you would have spent if you simply googled. I'm all for doing what you need to do, but it seems like an inefficient use of your time.

And the first page is filled with threads asking this exact same thing. Hmmmm, click another thread and read a sentence, or create my own thread and wait for someone else to type the exact same thing so I can read it in my own thread.
