jailbreak advice

kinda new to all of this....running iphone 4 4.0.1 jailbroken from jailbreakme.
should i update to 4.1 and jailbreak with GP or limerain? what are the advantages..i have no issues but not sure if im missing out on features ??

Since you don't know why you should update, then you don't need to. All you need to do is look at the features of 4.1, if you like them (or you don't like something about 4.0.1), then backup, upgrade (preserve baseband if want), then JB with LR or Poison
