Hey Guys,

Just a quick question really, a friend at work has a jail broken iPhone and assured me that you can in fact jailbreak them, reset and then still claim against your apple warranty. Is this true because if so I was thinking of picking up a 3Gs and keeping my current contract.

This is true. Jailbreaking is software based, thus a factory restore back to Apple certified software will remove all trace.

What he said.

I've never had any issues with un-jailbreaking a phone that needed warranty service.

Why, the iPhone Dev Team already said they have a jailbreak for the iPhone 4.

Because I can get a 3Gs for free, keep my 50% discount on my Flext-35 18 month contract that gives me £220 to spend how I want (sms, call, mms etc) and I get unlimited Web n' Walk internet all for £17.50 p/m

And you can hold it any way you want.
