iPod touch Jailbreak another ipod with 3.0?

I downloaded 3.0 and jailbroke my ipod, can I use the firmware on my computer to jailbrake my sisters 2.2.1 ipod to get 3.0 on her ipod, and will she lose everything on her ipod?
