Jailbreak/Back Up Question

I am about to jailbreak my 3Gs but I had a question first.

I backed my phone up and found where it backed up to:
C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

When I jailbreak, will it delete my backup? Should I move it somewhere else? How do I get that info back once I jailbreak?
