Jailbreak, Cydia apps not working

Well I just jailbroke my 2.0 iPod Touch and everything went well but...

When I open Cydia I'm confronted with home, everything loads nicely here but when i click install it loads for a bit and then nothing comes up. All I have is an empty folder called 'All Packages'. On the top it says last updated 'Jul 20....'.

Is there anything I can do to get Cydia working?

Its not that it isnt working, theres just barely any apps for it yet. Every app maker has to make them compatible with 2.0 firmware and, seeing as many of them are windows users, it might be a little while.
