Hi All

I want to use my iPad as a DSLR monitor for my camera and so I was wondering is it possible to jailbreak my iPad 2 running 9.3.5?
And what happens when Apple wants to update the IOS?
Sorry I really have no idea about these things.
Any advice would be really appreciated.

Nope there is no jailbreak for ios 9.3.5 and even if there was you wont be able to jailbreak it because its 32-bit and jailbreak mainly supports 64-bits which your iPad is not

I know this was a few months ago but I am wanting to jailbreak my iPad Mini. I was also wanting to change the IMEI number but was told needed first to jailbreak it. Can you tell me is there nay trusted advise to follow anywhere as lots seem out of date and lots complaining it does not work. I am wary about paying anything without knowing it works. Is there any advise you can offer?

You might want to take a look at this.

It's called IMEI spoofing and the FCC classifies it as Cellphone Cloning Fraud. Now, you may not be in the US, but wherever you are there is probably some law against doing what you want to do.

And by the way, there are no software tools available via jailbreak to do this. It's a hardware thing and if you aren't certified to have those tools - well, that's a crime too.

PS. You don't even mention what version of iOS your iPad is using. You don't mention whether it's 32 bit or 64 bit either. How are we supposed to know whether what you have is even jailbreakable or not without that info?

It's not like you can just go and jailbreak because you thought you'd like to do it.

Itis shows on 9.3.5 for iPad Mini and the model is MD543B/A. I do not think I am going to be able to even jailbreak it. I do not know how to work out what bit it is which is why I was asking.

You are right. There is no jailbreak for 9.3.5. There might have been some hope if you were running 9.3.3 or earlier, but you'd need a 64 bit device for that above iOS 9.1.

Okay thanks I will not waste any more time on it. I guess a lot of these sites are just wanting to get your money.
Yes, and a lot of people are either clueless or want a jailbreak so bad they are willing to ignore any sense it may not be legit.

No legitimate jailbreak will ever charge you a penny, let alone what some of the sites ask for.
