Getting Cydia on your iPad is almost the definition of jailbreaking. Well, not quite, because jailbreaking is getting root access to your iPad, but you need that access to get Cydia on your iPad.
I don't want to jailbreak my ipad mini... well for now. But meantime is there away to get cydia without jailbreaking for my ipad mini?

You can't jailbreak any of the new devices at this point, but I've been jailbreaking since the original iPhone 2G and never had any issues with doing so.
I'm pretty sure I've seen someone with some modified Ipad...
That is because they have old restores from other iPads, and not the new ones. The weather tweak?
Last iPad that was jailbroken is the iPad3 on 5.1.1

iPads on iOS 5.x can be jailbroken. Ones on iOS 6 can't.
actually that's pretty close, the jailbreak is ready, the Evad3rs Dev team is waiting for 6.1 to drop. The GM might drop today with public releas maybe next week, the new jailbreak will release within days of the public release of 6.1 so it might be on your birthday...
