Jailbreak Iphone 3G with Blackrain RC3

Hi guys


Need some advice, i have an unlocked Iphone 3G (Running on my carrier fine)
I want to jailbreak it, i already have firmware 3.1.2 installed, baseband: 05.11.07

Can i just simply run blackra1n RC3 to jailbreak the device? Or will i have to unlock it again?

I do not want to brick the device, your help is appreciated :apple:
