iPhone Jailbreak iPhone 4S, worth it?

Hi guys..

I´ve been jailbroken all my devices from 4. But, I´ve always jailbroken the newest, and as of now I have a 5S jailbroken and it works perfectly..

My girlfriend owns a 4S and wants me to jailbrak it.. Do you think a jailbreak will make the 4S lag or something like that? I dont want to mess her device up...

Jail-breaking wont cause any lag.

Its the tweaks one downloads that can cause this and in my experience Winterboard and theming.

Just do a bit of homework for compatibility issues on tweaks and don't use cracked tweaks and it should be fine.

Yup, thanks, I´ve only downloaded the tweaks I absolutely need on my phone. Do you know if there is a google document of 4s compabilitiy tweaks?
 
I just updated my wife's 4S from 5.X to 7.0.4. Seems to run a lot smoother. Now just need a few tweaks to get updated. Seems like the JB messed up the NC, but I'm waiting for IntelliscreenX to get an update.
 
The jb won't cause lag or extra battery consumption.
Anything like that will come depending on what tweaks and apps you download from Cydia and if said things have been updated to ios7 etc
 
Ref NC

Check your settings as the jail break process can reset it.

For example I had to go into it to turn my mail on to show them in my NC.
 
Late to the party - my 4S is jailbroken on 7.0.4 and no lag or battery issues. But Winterboard made it act wonky - put it in safe mode - so I deleted it and put on Bigify to eliminate icon labels.

winterboard shouldn't be installed on iOS 7. it has not been updated yet and will crash you into safe mode when trying to use spotlight

in addition, it is a battery drain, even when you are not using it to apply any themes
