Okay, can someone tell me if this is normal behavior? I'm pretty sure that it isn't, but just want to make sure.
Push email works fine for me if I have the Mail application running in the background under Native Multitasking mode. However, if I close the Mail app by removing it from the multitasking taskbar, it won't receive any new emails until I open up the Mail app manually.
Is this normal behavior? Do I always need to have the Mail app visibly running in the background? I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case before, but I only noticed it within the past few days...
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm using Gmail with the Exchange ActiveSync setup
