jailbreak mistake

Hi Guys

I've tried to upgrade the firmware of my 3gs from 4.0.1 to 4.3.3 with redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 but I didn't upgraded it with itunes before.... so I picked the 4.3.3 with redsnow and the 4.0.1 was installed on my Iphone.

So now it's stuck on the apple... I tried to do it again with redsnow with the 4.0.1 but of course it didn't recognised it..

Do you have any idea of how I could get it back?

Hold home and sleep button simultaneously for 10 seconds.
Release sleep button, but keep pressing home button for 20 seconds.
Plug into computer and it should say restore mode (Actually it's DFU mode but main purpose is for restore).
Restoring should update your phone to 4.3.3. If you backed up, then restore from the backup.

Keep in mind that jailbreak tools are NOT update/upgrade tools. You will not magically change 4.0.1 into 4.3.3 by using the jailbreak tool on it.

Pwnage will update the phone, JB and preserves BB with its custom firmware.
Any JB tool that doesn't preserve BB needs the iOS updated first.

Yeah, OP, for future reference, search first before you post. I find the site's search engine to be lacking but it certainly does help to check there first. Congrats on figuring it out for yourself!
