so, if i have a jailbroken iphone 2.0 and wanted to update mine to the newest 2.1 version..
would i restore my ipod, then update to 2.1?
ive read articles and ne of them tells me to actually download it through the site.. which really confuses me.. why download the software through the site when iTunes can automatically do it for me?
so what are th best choices? folllow iClarified way or ust restore, update my software to 2.1 and jailbreak?

... What's up with all these people?

What's wrong with 2.2? Just update straight from the jailbroken device and then use PwnageTool to make a jailbroken 2.2.

Maybe they have the forums sorted backwards are we're readying about the time when there were issues upgrading? :p

Doesnt make sence to me neither.
