I am selling my phone....

I have an 32 GIG iPhone 3GS...and its on the 4.1 update.

The guy buying it wants to jailbreak to work on t-mobile.

Is this possible with the 4.1 software and if so can you please point me in the right direction to help him get started.

I would do it but i don't usually jailbreak.

Thanks..

I'm assuming that if you are asking this question now, you didn't preserve your baseband when updating to 4.1. If that is the case, then no, your iPhone can't be unlocked.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

You screwed your sale by upgrading to 4.1.
Good luck finding another buyer.
