hi,im on jailbreak ios 8.3 on my new iphone 6 plus,ive never updated the iphone since it came out the box 2 weeks ago,my question is if i update to ios 9 when it arrives i know i will lose the jailbreak but can i just backup my iphone with the apps and stuff that are already on it and if the ios 9 jailbreak does come out can i just restore them back on with the backup from ios 8.3 or do i need to put everything back on from scratch ?

Your jailbreak data will carry over in the backup. Jailbreak app settings will be restored if/when you jailbreak 9.x.

Though I'd recommend making a list of your installed apps/tweaks because that's one aspect that won't carry over.

No problem. I would highly recommend keeping your 8.3 jailbreak. 9.0 as it is isn't worth losing it as of now. I got lucky and had my 6 replaced (it was on 9.1 beta) with one that had 8.4 and got to jailbreak again.

My 6 on 8.4 is so much more smooth. I didn't realize how bad 9 was until getting back into the 8 realm. And there's really nothing in iOS 9 that is worth the update anyway (IMO).
