I have a jailbroken ios4 ipod touch 2g. I want to upgrade to 4.1 for gamecenter but I don't want to lose all the themes and stuff I have. Is there a way to upgrade to 4.1 and keep all my stuff? if not is there a way to get gamecenter on jailbroken ios4> thanks.

What I'd do is to manually backup all the themes using SSH:

1. SSH to your iPod (assuming you have Mac,) by using Cyberduck. Any other App should work.
2. Navigate to /Library/Themes
3. Copy all the files.
4. After upgrading, Jailbreak your iPod, then SSH (install OpenSSH,) and Copy and Paste your themes.

For other settings:
Download PkgBackup or Chronus. Give them a try.

There is a Cydia app called PkgBackup which is supposed to do what you want but I haven't used it yet. Unfortunately it costs $4.99.
