Jailbreak/unlock 3.0.1 3GS?

I have a 3GS (my dad's) that's still on 3.0.1 and I want to jailbreak and unlock it.

I jailbroke my 3.1.3 with spirit and unlock with ultrasn0w but 3.0.1 is not supported with spirit.

Any thoughts? Sorry if it's a newb question. Need this phone for a backup in Europe though and selling my phone which has 3.1.3 and has already been jailbroken and unlocked.
