Jailbreak/ Unlock an IPhone 3gs with OS 4.1

Hello everybody,

i just bought an IPHONE 3gs with OS4.1.
Unfortunately it has a sim lock, so that i cant use it at the moment.

Question:
How i can unlock/ jailbreak it?

sorry, but its my first IPhone and i dont really know how to these kind of hacks.

Since the phone has been updated to 4.1 it almost certainly has the new Baseband 5.14. That means you can jailbreak it but you cannot unlock it. We expect a new version of ultrasn0w to unlock 5.14 in November sometime.

You can use either limera1n or greenpo1son to jailbreak it. Go to iclarify and look at their tutorials if you have any concerns about the process.

Ah man!! I asked a similar question guess I will sell mine in November then when I am able to unlock it as well. Mine is the Baseband 05.14 as well!! Thats ok November is right around the corner.
