jailbreak unlock for 5.0.1???

i have a iphone 4 and im running 4.0
been wanting to update to iOS5 for the longest time. am i able to jailbreak and unlock or no?
any help would be appreciated.
You have to create a custom IPSW with redsnow to save your unlockable baseband.
Then JB and install ultrasnow to unlock.
Your i4 baseband is 01.59.00 right?
Whatever you do make sure you dont update to official 5.0.1 with itunes or your unlock will be gone.
You might need to borrow or buy an AT&T sim.

You can get an AT&T microsim on ebay for $1.
And keep it so you can activate your phone officially.
is it easy to create and save the baseband? i dont want to fool around with something and get screwed. pretty much if this phone gets locked up then i have nothing to use.
Yes, its pretty easy.
Make sure you know what you're doing and you're 100% comfortable before you do.
Dont rush into anything cause if you mess up and restore to official firmware and you lose the unlock then you're done. You cant use it as a phone any more. Just as an ipod touch.

Makes sure you take your time, read it like a dozen times and make sure you understand what you're doing. Follow every step correctly and you will be fine.

read the responses on youtuve good way to tell.. I only trust reliable sources like Iclarified and a few reliable hackers on youtube. Since I don't have a unlockable baseband I'm not watching...
thats fine, they have their own site and seems legit. and from another video is simple as hell to jailbreak and obviously i know how to unlock myself.
just dont want to screw anything up.

video looks well done to me. matches the steps on the tutorial that Applejuiced posted earlier. remember that afterwards you still need to jailbreak the phone with redsnow and install ultrasn0w through cydia. before you jailbreak, you should put an ATT SIM in the phone (doesn't have to be an active SIM card) to avoid having to hacktivate. also, if you're restoring data from a backup, make sure to do that before jailbreaking.
