Jailbreaked 1st gen iTouch with redsn0w - but I have no wi-fi for apps!

Hey! Finally today I took the plunge and jailbreaked my 1st gen iPod touch with redsn0w, but I can't get any wi-fi to get apps onto it using Cydia. Are there any ways (using a Mac ) that I can some stuff onto my iTouch?

Sharing the internet connection from your Mac via the integrated AirPort card:
System Preferences -> Sharing -> Internet Sharing.

Then connect to the WiFi on your iPod Touch.
