jailbreaked iphone 3g on o2 UK and my 3G no longer works

i jailbreaked my iphone 3G and now my 3G doesnt work
the 3G icon appears but i dont get a connection
this means i dont get internet except through wifi
and i cnt send picture messages


help please

If your on payandgo maybe the apn settings are incorrect?

That exact same thing happened on my girlfriends 3G. It worked fine for a few weeks then all of a sudden stopped working. After restoring and re-jailbreaking it worked again. The only thing we put it down to was enabling the 3.1.2 tethering hack in the cydia store so didn't install that after restoring and it was fine although that might not have been the problem. Her phone was pay as you go although originally a pay monthly.
