Jailbreaker In Distress

I have an iPhone 5S stuck in restore loop, due to cydia being corrupt. I did attempt to restore, and jailbreak again. I have an appointment at the apple store at 7:20 EST TOMMOROW. F.lux will tint the logo and bar, and they may be able to identify it as jailbroken. iFunBox sees the phone as jailed due to the restore process. Help?

Just restore it.. And keep it that way.

The Apple Store will notice that it is jailbroken, even if they can't see what's on the screen. They will suggest you restore the device and return it to you as it isn't defective in anyway.

Try a DFU restore with a different computer.

Pretty sure your only option is DFU restore and deal with a non-jailbroken device until the next jailbreak comes out.

Agreed, you dont really have a choice. Its not like a genius will help you jailbreak ( though that would be cool)

Hey there! I know what you are facing so I'll try to help you the best I can. Firstly try to put it into DFU mode.

Steps:
1) Power the device down
2) Start holding Power button for 3 seconds
3) Hold Home button but don't let go of the Power button, 10 seconds
4) Keep holding Home and let go of Power. About 15 seconds just to be sure

Make sure that your device is in full blank screen without any apple logo or anything. Connect your device to your computer and now iTunes should detect it in recovery mode/your computer will first detect it in DFU mode.

Just restore and voila! Hope i helped!

You broke your phone while jailbreaking it, and you have an appointment at the genius bar, presumably to try to get a warranty replacement?

It's not broken. All it needs is a restore. What OP is looking for is a way out of the recovery loop without upgrading to 7.1.

The symptoms are also those of trying to jailbreak an OTA upgrade.

FYI - the replacement units the Apple store has still are installed at 7.0.4 locally here in SF at least. I'd suggest restoring, and telling them the phone just randomly shuts off. I got them to replace mine Saturday, and a friend who works at the store told me the replacement devices they have (the white boxes) are still on 7.0.4 until depleted.
