Jailbreaking 3G 2.2, error 2001

I've tried to Jailbreak my iPhone 3G a few times and right after I follow the steps to get into DFU mode, I get an error in iTunes saying that my iPhone can't be detected. And in QuickPwn it says "Preparing to jailbreak iPhone" and it stalls.

What's goin' on?!
