Has anyone ever really had Apple carry out on their threat to not honor your AppleCare warranty because you had your iPad jailbroken? I can't imagine them really refusing to do so, in my mind it seems more like just a threat and nothing else to try and keep people from jailbreaking.

I've never had to put that policy to test, nor do I ever expect to. I always restore an idevice to stock before I take it in to Apple, and if a device is so far gone I can't get it to restore, then Apple can't turn it on to see it's been jailbroken, either.

Does the Cydia store work like the App Store in terms of you being able to re-download apps/media without having to rebuy if you have to run a restore?
