Jailbreaking OS 3.0 GM

Has anyone tried this? Has it worked/failed? I want to get the battery percentage so I wanted to try to jailbreak my phone to see if it'll work, but haven't really found anything.

I'm guessing no one has had any luck and everyone that cares (jailbreakers) are waiting for a 'official' jailbreak from the dev team and whatnot.

so there is no jailbreak for the GM 3.0, as of yet?

and you cant update to GM 3.0 without loosing the jailbreak? unlock?
