jailbreaking + unlocking ooold Iphone 3G

Hello guys,

i have an ooold Iphone 3G software is 3.0.1, it is jailbreaked.
Now i want to update the iphone to 3.1.3 because some apss arent working anymore.

How can i do this? I think 3.1.3 is the better choice, because friends told me, that 3G doesnt work very well with 4.0.

What do i have to do?

But i couldnt jailbreak it yet.
The first link with the Jailbreak Wizard, it doesnt have my iphone version,
its 3.0.1... i cant choose it...

I also tried the second one.
With Redsnow i cant restore my Iphone, because Itunes wants to restore and update it to 4.2 if i click on restore. same problem with blacksnow.
how can i restore it to 3.1.2? my baseband is 04.26.08 now...

PwnageTool cant find the file, if i browse for it, the software gets stuck...

First, down load Iphone1,2 3.1.3 firmware to your computer, then open Itunes, hit shift + restore at the same time, it will give you the option to choose the firmware, click on 3.1.3. Once you done that, Itunes will do the rest.

Couple things that you need to know.
1. Since this is upgrading the firmware, you will not get any error during the process i.e 1015. Your phone will restore to factory setting.
2. Since it is restore to factory setting, you will be stuck at emergency call screen unless you have an AT&T sim to by pass this screen. Spirit can't jailbreak it because it is not activate. Jailbreakme.com will not work because you can't get to safari. However, you can use Redsn0w 9.4.4 to jailbreak it.

hello guys, its me again.

i managed to do the jailbreak
Now ive tried to unlock it using the tutorial on iclarified,
but they're still a problem.
After using blackra1n in Cydia, the Iphone is kinda stuck at the Apple Icon.
Its been loading for a while, then it turns off himself. I can repeat it again, its always the same.

Can you use redsn0w 0.9.4 to jailbreak it?

With Redsn0w, you need to put the phone into DFU mode.
