jailbreakme.com - apps won't work, all I want is notes

Hi,

Just did the jailbreakme.com hack, and fixed the calender fine

But, no other app I install will work? I choose the apps from what the installer gives me and it goes and installs it fine. But when I open them, it opens but closes straight back down and doesn't fully load.

What's wrong?

Also, all I pretty much want is just notes (from the iphone) on my itouch, how can I do this?

edit: hmm... seems it requires a mac, I currently only have access to a pc
