Been jailbreaking since 1.1.3 on my original 2G, so I'm fairly versed on jailbreaking. Jailbroke my iPhone 4 yesterday using the new @comex jailbreakme.com exploit. All went well, cydia installed fine, didn't loose MMS (not sure of facetime, however..) Installed a favorite app quickreplysms. When I went to make a call, i got a pop up box that said "call forwarding active /dismiss". Didn't think much of it until I checked in the settings and call forwarding was set to "off." So, I tried to restore network settings to see if that might fix the issue. The phone did it's thing, then rebooted. At this point, the phone hung at the apple logo and I was forced to DFU/Restore to my earlier backup. The phone is back now to "stock" form, and I do not recieve this message when I make a call. I was just curious if anyone else ran into this issue, and if they know if it was a jb related bug, or a quickreply related bug. I'm reluctant to try to jailbreak again until I can figure out this issue, if in fact it is even an issue...

i got that annoying pop up everytime i made a call when i jailbroke yesterday, so i just restored from backup and re-did the jailbrake, now everything is fine
i doubt it is quickreply related beause i never installed quickreply

No need to restore and rejailbreak.

Simply open cydia, install the critical update. This will fix facetime, mms, and the forwarding message bug.

So I'm assuming one of those "bugs" is what caused the phone to hang? I'll give it a go when I get home as to not get caught in a loop away from my pc *just in case*

Thanks!
