jailbreakme not working on 1.1.1, help?

I'm seriously having trouble with jailbreakme. The tiff exploit refuses to run... My version is definitely 1.1.1 (3A110a) (I restored it from 1.1.2) but every time I navigate to jailbreakme.com and click install appsnapp, safari doesn't crash like it should. Instead, it just keeps trying to load the tiff file until the screen goes black due to inactivity... Any ideas what's the problem?

ok nvm, i re-started my ipod and it suddenly worked (why didn't i think of that before???) no idea why that helped though, or what i did...
