I can't reboot it because then it won't start (it'll get stuck on apple logo and i'll have to restore it from itunes and jailbreak all over again, and it'll still not have sms-ability; i did this 8-9 times and it took me more than 10 hours to finally realize i could not let my phone reboot after downloading ultrasn0w....and it won't unlock without ultrasn0w so i have to have ultrasn0w in order to get virgin mobile signals)
Main Issue:
Not able to receive/send SMS
Able to receive/send MMS (but only with subject line, otherwise it won't allow MMS either)
HandcentSMS isn't working either. (same thing: messages never get sent)....is there another similar app that might work?
I tried **5005*7672# method as well. It does not work for me. I entered virgin's SMCnumber correctly, but still won't work.
Is there any way i could get my phone to send/receive sms like normal? I have spent more than 15+ hours working on it, trying to unlock it/jailbreak it/back it up/restoring it....and my brain is so fried rn
I bought this phone from a random guy online. This phone has the ability to send/receive messages. I tried it when i bought it. But when i got home i tried to clean it up by restoring it on itunes, then realized it was jailbroken and locked now.... so i had to jailbreak/unlock it myself... and now it has lost its sms ability.
Edit: btw, i downloaded HandcentSMS after downloading Ultrasn0w. Do you think handcent will work if i jailbreak again but this time download handcent before downloading ultrasn0w? (simply uninstalling ultrasn0w and then installing handcent and then installing ultrasn0w does not work.)
