I just bought a new iPhone 6 - 64GB and of course applied Pangu. All was great and my wife OTA to 8.1 to update it. I then reapplied the jailbreak and was good again. I noticed that it would not charge or would be detected in iTunes. I read to do a master reset from the menu in settings but the battery died in the middle of the master rest. Now it will not turn on or still not charge or detect in iTunes. I have tried multiple cables, home while plugging into iTunes, home + power, home + vol up. Any ideas of how to fix this issue?

Edit:
I should state that the battery is completely drained, not even getting the "red" battery warning anymore on the screen.

Have you tried charging it overnight on the wall charger with a genuine apple lightning cable ?
If successful, then do a restore.

Where to begin?

Don't OTA update jailbroken devices.

Don't use master reset switches in Settings on jailbroken devices.

You should restore to 8.1 (it is still being signed RIGHT NOW) and then rejailbreak. Move quickly.

I don't think it is being signed anymore. A friend just tried to restore on his 5s and it wouldn't let him.

I wish I could restore. iTunes does not recognize it or even see a device. Device does not turn on.

I will try this!

have you tried puting it in DFU mode or Recovery Mode?

I have but failed to get into both modes. Same for iPhone 6, right? Power for 4 seconds, then home and power for 10, then just hold home until detected...right? I have done it with other devices, unless it has changed.

Exactly.
The op did everything he should not be doing with jb devices.
He's better off staying stock cause he obviously cannot follow simple directions or bother researching to know what he's supposed to be doing.
Jailbreaking is not for everyone.

Before I jailbreak, even though I've done it a few times, I play the video and couple of times.

After that I play the video step by step, pausing at each point. I don't leave any step to memory as thats when all hell breaks loose for me.

I'm not a techie so I need to go slow all the way through. It's worked extremely well for me thus far.

I did a master reset like you when I was new to jailbreaking, and the same thing happen to me. You got to do DFU mode, not recovery mode. (they both have the same steps but one difference), recovery mode won't fix it properly.

This vid gives correct steps on DFU mode. It starts at 6:20.
